We know from talking to hundreds of locally trusted community sport organisations that re-engaging and staying connected with the young people you support is one of your top priorities. We want to help you to deliver to and support your local communities in a way that is safe and reflects the latest government guidance on Covid-19.

We are aware that everyone it at different stages both in delivery and local restrictions, therefore, whilst StreetGames is not able to provide legal advice on the plans for your setting, we want to do everything possible to help you make the right decisions safely.

StreetGames intention is to:

We will keep this section updated as a ‘COVID-19 Knowledge Bank’ with the latest sector guidance, and help signpost you to the most relevant guidance for you and your organisation.

We will provide research and insight to support your thinking to help you adapt your approach for the benefit of young people

We will use the StreetGames Twitter, Facebook and Instagram sites to keep sharing sector and partner updates.                                                                                                                                                                       StreetGames Doorstep Sports Advisors will also be on hand for any individual help or support needs.                                                                                                                                                                                 We will continue to provide opportunities for you to stay connected through our virtual network meetings, webinars and online training to learn more about specific issues, learn from others going through the same challenges, and help best practice sharing.

Furthermore, we want to add useful ‘stuff’ to this part of our website to help you navigate to the most relevant guidance, and most useful resources to help you and your organisation at this most challenging time – We are here for you, so please keep checking back!

As part of the guidance that is being issued (and almost constantly updated), there will be resources that will help in your plan to deliver activities and support the sector to keep staff, volunteers, members and participants informed of their responsibilities around social distancing.
