The University of Cumbria StreetGames Student Workforce Development Programme was established through a partnership between StreetGames, the University of Cumbria and the Local Authority.

The programme involves a Friday night multi-sports session which engages young people from within the local community. The sessions are managed and delivered by the University of Cumbria StreetGames Student Workforce volunteers and held at a University sports facility. Funded by the Local Authority to complement their existing provision, the volunteers are also offered kit, training and resources through the Co-operative StreetGames Young Volunteer (CSYV) programme.
