What is SERVES?

SERVES is a community-based programme designed by the LTA to tackle some of the issues faced by people in disadvantaged communities, such as high levels of unemployment, poor health prospects, physical inactivity, and low self-esteem. It does this by bringing tennis into the heart of these communities, giving young people the chance to develop valuable life skills, both on and off the tennis court, which in turn builds their confidence, health and employment prospects. After a successful three year pilot, The LTA is now scaling the programme up across the Country and StreetGames is proud to be a National Partner of this programme.

As a community tennis partner we've worked with our locally trusted organisations to use tennis as tool to change lives, communities and sport. Read about the successful stories from across the country here:

Award-winning projects!

Congratulations to A690 Youth Initiative (Sunderland) and Anuerin Leisure (Blaenau Gwent) - winners of the 'Community Project of the Year' prize at the 2019 British Tennis, and Tennis Wales Awards, respectively.

Fantastic recognition for two equally fantastic projects - A690 and Anuerin are the first SERVES projects to take home these awards!
