StreetGames would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this summer's Fit and Fed campaign such an incredible success! With your help, we were able to provide six weeks of fun, food and friendship to over 3,500 of Britain's poorest children.

Participants were treated to a wide variety of events and activities, including visits from local fire departments and army regiments, political figures and sportspeople. In Hertfordshire, participants at the 'Fit Fed and Read' project were visited by the best-selling author Ken Follett - who took the time to speak to the young participants about the power of good storytelling, while in Streatham, the young attendees had the chance to meet with former-England Rugby international and World Cup winner Matt Dawson. Elsewhere, a number of political figures – including Karl Turner (MP for Hull) and Labour Councillor Jenny Bullen (Wigan) also turned up to experience the transformational power of sport first-hand!

Without the hard work and generous support of StreetGames’ backers, fundraisers, participating organisations & Fit and Fed Supporters Club members – inspirational visits and sessions like these might never have occurred. Thank you all!
