Funded by Erasmus+, this two year project (April 2017 - March 2019) has developed an online course to help young people become peer educators. Its ultimate goal is to increase the participation of disadvantaged young people (aged 13-30) in health-enhancing physical activity throughout Europe. Working with partners from Denmark, Italy, Bulgaria, Belgium, the UK, Malta and The Netherlands, this collaborative approach shares best practice from across Europe, and has led to the creation of an online platform and an online training course – work underpinned by new research and tested by 55 peer leaders.
